How The Naked Berry handles the details you send us, and why this site has no cookie banner.

Who we are

The Naked Berry (registered business name no. 707292), Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, is responsible for the personal data collected through nakedberry.ie. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our quote form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you add it, company or event name, and your event or build details.

Apart from the technical data our hosting and font providers need to serve the site to you (such as your IP address), we do not collect any other personal data through the website, and we do not run advertising or tracking on it.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry details only to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if you book, to deliver the event or build. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We keep booking records because the law requires us to keep accounting records.

We never sell your data or use it for marketing without your permission.

Who processes it for us

FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers the quote form to our email inbox. Google provides our email (Gmail). Cloudflare hosts the website and provides our visitor statistics. Google Fonts serves the fonts on the site, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them. These providers only process data to provide their services to us. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States; where they do, the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or booking, and for up to six years after a booking for accounting and legal records. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within two years.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. We do not use advertising, social media or tracking cookies, so you will not see a cookie banner.

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
